Education is such an important investment in one's future. I believe that college may not be for everyone, but I do think that everyone should give it a try. I think that too many people take their free education for granted. For me, it is part of my responsibility to my ancestors and anyone who ever prayed for freedom from slavery, fought Jim Crow, or died for voting rights. I enjoy learning and agree with Malcolm X's statement that "Education is the passport for the future". I just wish more people thought so, too.
